Olivet Baptist Church is located in the town of Meaford, Ontario on the shore of Georgian Bay. We are a small but lively church, and have experienced significant growth over the past several years. We have approximately 120 regular attendees each Sunday.

We are a member congregation of the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches in Canada and have forged significant relationships with Willow Creek Ministries, Purpose Driven Ministries, the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada, Focus on the Family and many other mission organizations and para-church ministries. Our overall purpose in a nutshell is “to be and to do what matters to God”.

Our Pastor, Rev. Bruce Jones is a graduate of Ontario Bible College (now Tyndale College) and has been ministering at Olivet since July,1998. In June, 2006 we hired an Associate Pastor in Matt Foalden, whose main ministry is with our youth group. Matt graduated from Heritage Seminary.

Our building is located on a spacious lot in a residential area of Meaford. We are located within a two minute walk of Tim Horton’s. When you see the famous coffee shop sign, while traveling west along Meaford’s main street (Sykes St/Highway 26), you can be sure that Ivan St. and Olivet Baptist Church are not far away. There is a small sign on the corner of Ivan St. that will direct you to our building.

Sunday Service times: 11 am

Child care provided.  Hearing Assist is available upon request for morning service.
