Adult Fellowship
The Adult Fellowship Committee organizes
a event every 4 to 6 weeks, usually on a Friday or Saturday evening.
These social occasions allow the adults of the church to get better
acquainted with one another in a relaxed setting. Also, they
provide the perfect opportunity to invite friends and neighbors to
get to know our church family in a non-threatening environment.
Everyone seems to enjoy the great food and great laughter.
Some of our past events include:
mini-putt, Games Night, Car Rallies, bowling, hikes on the Bruce
Trail, Riding Toy Museum tours, Guess-Who's-Coming-to-Dessert Night,
baseball tournaments, canoe trips, and The Price Is Right Night.
Check out our Event Calendar for
information on the next event.

Seniors
Olivet has a good
number of seniors with a wide variety of talents and skills. We are
very thankful for the dedication and experience of these folks.
Many seniors serve in various ministry roles throughout the church,
from up-front leadership roles with children to background roles
cutting grass or doing building repairs. Seniors form the backbone
of Olivet’s prayer efforts as well. Many of our seniors take part
in the inter church ministry called Joy 2000, a monthly
social outing with seniors from other churches in Meaford.
We also have our own
special seniors’ get-together with a very unique name—the
“Mmmm” Ministry. This stands for the “Monthly Mid-day Meal
and Meeting” which is currently held once each month at 12 noon,
either on a Wednesday or Thursday at Georgian Bay Café, a favourite
restaurant for many of our church people. This easy-going and
light-hearted get together gives an opportunity for our seniors to
enjoy a lunch and fellowship time together at a very reasonable
cost. Please see our Event Calendar
for this month's meeting.
